    I'm not sure, but thinking maybe a straight or serpentine diagonal through the centers of the squares and then stitch in the ditch around the black border. Piano Keys???

    Thanks, we just received yet another version of a local telephone book and I'm thinking those pages would work great too. Might be a little smaller but no worries.

    I LOVE this quilt. I hope you don't mind if I 'borrow' this idea for a Project Linus quilt. It's bright, colorful and just plan Happy!! Thanks for sharing!!
