Scrappy recycled shirts/bedding quilt number 2 finished
I'm on a quest this year to make at least 10 quilts using entirely things purchased ONLY in Poland as my friend told me I had a distinct advantage in making beautiful quilts due to the fact that I have access to USA purchased fabric.
Many people I know here don't have the money to buy expensive fabric, so I thought I'd like to tackle this as a project/challenge and see what I could come up with things I can find at the used clothing stores. Regularly (I'm finding out), these stores have "everything is 1 or 2 zlotys" (which means about 33 cents or 66 cents and usually means only the shirts/dresses/blouses types of things).
So, here's my quilt nr. 2 from that quest.
The navy was a sheet that originated from Ikea, 100% cotton, but I purchased at the used clothing store, and the others are all shirts or pajamas.
I did grid style quilting.
