Hi All,

I took a workshop at MQX East in April given by Charlotte Angotti. The workshop was entitled "Let Me Surprise You". You had no say in the colors or the pattern so if you were hung up on a style or color family - don't sign up! These colors weren't my favorites - however, the primary and secondary blocks came out very interesting. This quilt has been named Sea Glass and is destined to be a boat warming gift!

Thanks for looking!

I love the colors. When looking at them individually I'm not sure I would have picked them either but together they are a great combo. Great job of piecing.

Love your quilt! Our quilt guild did a crayon challenge where you drew 2 crayons and then had to make something using those colors. I got royal and orange. I would NEVER have used them together and it made a beautiful quilt that I just love. Moved me outside my box.

I love, love sea glass!
The quilt is appropriate for someone on the water - & it does remind me of sea glass.

I think that came out so pretty!! The lighter colors do resemble sea glass so well!! Great job. :)

Cheers!
