Default Quilts for friends children

One of the ladies in my walking group passed away leaving a 9 year old daughter & a 15 year old son. I decided to make them each a quilt from fabric samples another friend had given me. It is an easy pattern of 4 ½" x 6 ½" rectangles with a 1 ½" strip sewn to each side. Just alternate the direction of the squares, although I did have to pay attention to which direction I cut my rectangles as I didn't want the fish/animals on their sides.
