Do you need the tool & software to do this, or, do they give you the templates anyway? I don't have a Bernina, so am curious!

Thank you. Basically, if you want to do something like this manually, you'll need to cut out the lettering using whatever template you like. These were fonts, enlarged and stretched. Then simply machine applique them down as usual. No, there weren't any templates provided.
