Wow they are both beautiful, love viewing others fabric choices - helps me to think outside the "box". Great quilts.

Did you double or triple the size of your "Wild Style"?

Wild Style is the name of a quilt pattern that is almost exactly like your storm at sea quilt. it was on the marcus brothers website not sure if it still is. your quilt is larger that the one on the marcus bros site. i saved the pattern and had made up my mind to use some batiks to off set some of the animal skin prints but i just love your quilt with all of the animal skin fabrics.

Oh! I did see and print a copy off the internet one day but I didn't think it was Marcus Brothers--thought it was one of the other "guys" Hoffman/Kaufman. At any rate my blocks are 16".

    Thanks again for everyone's compliments.

Well done, on both! I'm not a fan of animal prints as a general rule, but that was stunningly eye catching!

here is the free link to the Wild Style pattern i was referring to. it is marcus fabrics which was marcus brothers at one time. perhaps a brother left the business. lol this quilt is on my long list of to-do's. you did an outstanding job.

i really could use a bed runner for my furbabies but i just havent had the thought space to incorporate it in my thinking. one day though.

Thanks for the link. When I saw it on the internet, it was just a picture with no name--I couldn't even tell what size it was because it was a close up picture. Now I see that they used the same sized blocks as mine, I just made more blocks! I made mine using acrylic templates that I ordered, then after I had cut out what seemed like a gadrillion pieces, I found a paper pieced pattern. I so much prefer to do paper piecing!

I understand about the furbabies--I have 5 and they don't just lay at the foot of the bed but at least they are nice enough to save me a small portion of it!
