I just couldn't decide what color to do the stars in sooo..... I did blue, red, yellow, pink, lavander and green...and yes when I got these guys done I didn't want to see any more stars...but needless to say that seems to be what I like the most and now my honey has talked me into doing a Lone Star wish me luck...i'm going to need it

Those are absolutely fabulous!!! How'd you get your points so pointy?? How great would it be to wake up to the sunny yellow one on a cold winter's day!!

Thank you to all of you for your wonderful comments...keep them coming. ..These are all done as half blocks...but arranged in such a way they look like one peice cut on an angle...I try really hard to get those points that is one thing I did take away from my quilt class I took was to keep them pointy even if you half to work at it... so I took my time and did all the squaring up and wa laa... The scalloped edges are my first attempt...I watched sewing with Nancy and she showed how to use a ruler and that is how I did it...guess as long as it looks like a scallop I succeeded :) Was a challenge ..may attempt again someday

My favorite is the yellow/gold one. The scalloped border looks great. Reminds of the quilt my grandma made, when she made quilts.
