I don't normally comment. I have been on this site for about a year now. But I just had to say that I loved this quilt I've never seen one like it before, what a good idea. For some reason I have saved all the Moda ribbons from buying fat quarter bundles, maybe someday I will be able to use them in a quilt. I think you should enter it somewhere. I love scrappy quilts and have never bought a kit. This quilt must have been very fun. Thank you for sharing.

so when it was completed, it must have been like a trip down memory lane... And it makes it clear what your fave colors are - or at least the favorites of the folks you quilt for. How Fun! I have a bucket full of 'em, but I've cut them too stingily to sew them into anything. They're only good for tying things together. I end up using them in my garden. I just Love what you've done with them here. So clever.

This is an amazing work of art. Amazing that you kept all those salvage edges, amazing that you thought to make a quilt, amazing that you made something worthwhile out of it and amazing that it turned out beautiful and useful. How very clever. I donʻt know if I have the patience to collect all those salvage edges and then sew up a qult. This is wonderful. Thank you for sharing.
