I totally agree with the "blue" votes. It makes it sparkle.

The brown matches better but the blue makes the quilt "pop" a little more. Any of your choices would work out just fine so it comes down to your quilt, your choice. It's a very pretty quilt and I don't even like brown!

I notice the blocks more with the the brown and gold reversed squares...not so much distracting the eye. I think that one looks classy.

I like the light blue, it seems to bring out the blue/gray? from the blocks...maybe a more solid light blue... Squares are beautiful...

I agree, I think the main fabric might do the trick. Hard to say though since we don't know what it looks like. That's going to be a beautiful quilt!!!

I like putting a nine patch for the setting corners when I have a striped sashing. It makes it look sort of woven.
