    love the lower left one especially. I have never seen one like that.

    They are beautiful. Like lots of the others, I am really drawn to the block on the lower left....most unusual and attractive.

    Love the blocks. What is a sew along and what Eleanor Burns book is this from? I will also add it to my list of projects to do!!

    The name of the book is "Stars Across America" and hasn't been out very long ...
    the block in the lower left corner is called a triple star ... Honoring Eleanor Roosevelt.
    The book contains twelve star blocks in various settings - - as always, an Eleanor Burns book is worth the time to purchase and work through.
    The history included with each star block that she named the blocks after is a real treat and inspiration to read.
    the blocks are to be twelve inches finished ... many settings and options provided. (can't tell I like Eleanor Burns, can you? <g>)

    the colors you have chosen are very pretty ... your work is impressive ...
    I can hardly wait to see how you decide to finish it up!

    edit: the histories included are about twelve American women who have been inspirational and foundational to our heritage and culture.
