Very pretty! I love the gold with the b/w! I haven't made a quilt with this method, but I have done a quick test block with it. It really is super easy, and gives very nice results!

Lovely quilt. I made 3 lap quilts of Christmas fabric for my kids for Christmas. I put red flannel on the back. It really is a fast project.

beautiful quilt, love the decorative stitching idea...I'm working on one right now with a musical theme, do not advise using 7in blocks for first attempt. doable but slower...can't wait to do another...with larger blocks

I just bought this book! Your quilt is very pretty! I can't wait to make one too :) Its a very clever way of making squares, isn't it?

I was wrong in my thinking, it really is just that.

I am sure many of you have already made quilts with this pattern but if by chance not, do!

It is a great feeling to complete a quilt in a matter of several hours instead of months or for that matter years. It has been years for some of my quilts and they are still in limbo.

Nice quilt- and sounds so easy! I like the added touch of the machine decor on it also, for a dressed up look.

Good point pads, the smaller the begining squares the harder it is to work with. Start with the 10 x 10 then you can cut the outter block down a few inches if desired, however, the center with remain the same. Best thing to do is experiment on scrape fabric first.

I have posted a tut on this for the Board. It shows step by step with pics! There were a couple of quilters who were unable to get the video because of their internet provider.

Lovely! Love the colors you used. And the stitching is great on it.
