    Sewing machine cover and organizer

    Hi everyone,
I thought maybe you would enjoy seeing this birthday gift I am sending off monday. It is a sewing machine cover and a organizer to help with those projects I know my friend is going to make this year on her machine. The machine cover is on my canisters, so, it isn't exactly how it will look. But you get the idea, right? There are a couple little goodies in the pockets for her to play with too.

I sure hope she likes it. The oriental fabrics might remind her of her childhood.

    Good job!!

I had to do a double take and re-read you post. When I first looked at the organizer I thought the lanterns were turnips/parsnips. lol

Wonderful job. I have an "organiser" for my machine also and it is so very handy.

Pretty. I have to agree with Grammy Dwynn. I thought they were turnips too. You have to really look at them.

Turnips... You girls are so funny! I wonder how many people really have even seen a turnip. I have because I love them, but so many young people do not have a clue what is good. LOL!!

I remember seeing paper japanese lanterns like these while visiting chinatown some time ago. They were really much prettier in person all lit up.

I bought this fabric some time ago from a gal on the board. Favorite fabrics I think. They match perfectly in color and I think theme.

Thank you all for your sweet comments. I am begining to think maybe she will like it to.
