Yes, I loved the islands! Grandad used to take me on the little island ferry for a trip around them all! This was about 60 years ago! Hope not too much has changed!

What a beautiful place! A back up machine was a great idea, too. I needed that once. Saved my three days of sewing or I would have just had to leave. Nice quilts, too.

Pretty quilts. Your daughter is a talented quilter by the looks of her quilt.

I have not had the opportunity to attend a retreat but I'm sure I would like it... thank goodness there was a backup machine.

What a beautiful place to be quilting. Sorry for your machine troubles but looks like you had lots of fun creating memories with your daughter. Very pretty quilt too. I love the fabrics.

Both are great quilts. What a wonderful mother-daughter experience and in such a beautiful location.

Wonderful! And you have something to show for your weekend. I stayed home and, sadly, watched the Seahawk game
So glad your DD shares your interest in quilting. Mine doesn't like sewing of any kind - didn't get that gene, I guess. Happy you had a good tiime!

Are you at the lodge by the Over the Rainbow fabric store? I have bought from them several times online and always get excellent service and prices.
