I have been sharing my sewing room with my son’s drum set and it was really big. Well my husband bought him a rack system for him drums which makes it so you can fit them in a smaller space because you are not using all the stands. So we successfully moved his drums into his bedroom and it works great and it gave me back about 6x6 of the room. My daughter is starting college in the fall for garment/apparel design and need an industrial sewing machine so now we will have room for one. We will more than likely purchase a Juki next week. Then the next item will be a real sewing table for me when I can afford it. I’m so happy to have the extra space.

Very nice. I think I see Henrietta hanging on the door. I am also making that quilt and having fun at it.

Lisa, your room is sooooo tidy compared to mine, and I love your AOTH on the wall. Enjoy your extra space until you lose some for that industrial machine, LOL.

That is a really nice space and so organized. Love the windows with the view to the garden and fountain. That must be very soothing.

I love your room but am more impressed that you share this love of fabric and sewing with your daughter. Best wishes to her on her studies and have lots of fun together! I am a little jealous of all that room!
