Sewing Room
#1
My first designated sewing room. No more cutting at the dining room table. No more putting everything away so the space can be used by others in the household.
This is an ongoing project. I have spent less than $600 on the furniture. I need some shelving and/or cabinets to finish this off.
The sewing table (or at least to me) is 8 feet long and 35 inches wide. It is 3 or 4 inches too short so my husband is going to fix that little problem before we put the top back on. This thing has awesomely heavy duty casters to move the table where I need it.
I need to organize all the fabric....but just getting it all out of the boxes was a major victory. I have a large box of fleece/minky in the closet. Seemed the best place for the bulky items....and the roll of batting.
It was fun going through the fabric - I have to admit there was much I did not recall purchasing!

Bookcase with fabric and unfinished Dresden wall hanging! The wood sewing box was my grandmother's.

My Horizon and awesome lime green chair

Sewing table base with boxes of scraps. Nothing fancy, but sturdy!

More scraps - and the thread for the spool racks. See that yellow sewing basket? This is the first time in 25 years that it has had 4 legs!
