Love that Violin hanging on the wall..is it yours? My daughter is into her 3rd year playing.

I really like that Whole set up you have in your desk area...was your wooden frame custom built? What a neat idea! and that has to be the neatest thread holder I've ever seen. =)

I love your room..looks very cozy and functional. =) I still don't have mine all the way done. I've run out of room and still have my storage totes around. I do have a path to get from station to station though.. =)

Yes, my husband built the frame on my desk, it used to hang on the wall in the living room years ago and then ended up in storage, so when I was looking for shelving above my old farm desk, a light bulb went off and there you have it, it fits perfectly. He anchored it to the wall so it wouldn't fall on me. The fiddle is mine, I took lessons years ago and a family friend that made and repaired fiddles had this antique one so my hubby bought it for me for my birthday, it's very special to me, as our friend Jimmy passed away about 6 months later. Sure miss him, kind of lost my passion to play after that.

You have a great looking sewing room as is, lots of fabric. We need to see some quilts. I just finished my 14th quilt for this year. I retired in June and that is mainly what I have been doing.

I love your room. lots of creative space you have goin on.. I removed my ironing board, like the one you have, had hubby make a four legged table and I made my own ironing board over it.. and slid the sterilite multiple drawer thingy's under it.. I have lots of the sterilite (sp) see thru plastic drawer thingy's under everything I saw an empty space..
