I really like how it turned out. Are your colored blocks batiks? They're so pretty. Very modern, which is so popular. I've been wanting to quilt something with straight top to bottom lines. Maybe throw in a tear drop. Or I saw one quilted with a top to bottom swirl/line and a wavy line between. (Can you picture that?) it reminded me a little of wood grain. Anyway, I'm sure whatever you choose will be perfect and will look awesome on the wall of your daughters future counseling office!
I wonder if that straight line quilting idea is the way to go. I want to enhance or pop the shadow effect--not distract from it. Feline Fanatic is my quilting advisor, but she knows I need simple easy ideas... very simple, very easy. lol

Me too. I was confused by the upper left corners being slanted, until I realized that the left strips were not laying completely flat. Funny how our eyes can fool us into "seeing" things.
