Lucky lucky lady! Wow nice! By the way, my hubby is a grad from the UK and I know exactly what you are talking about. His sport fav is the basketball. I am every year listening to him yell at the tv about some play or something until the final four.... LOL!
Nice gift you made her. I am sure she is thrilled with it.

Here in KY all the JoAnn's and Hancocks have UK fabric - cotton and fleece too. The hard part was finding a blue to match it. I finally found some at the local Hancock Fabrics in the M'Liss line.
Forgot to mention, I looked up the serial number and found she's from 1940. She's a pretty lady, her decals are even intact. And the teacher was thrilled with the quilt.
