Default Sheep

I just finished this sheep wallhanging. The sheep pattern is Wooly Stars by Corey Yoder.

I have a wall beside my dryer that has a small built-in shelf in it. It's an eyesore and totally useless. The previous house owner had cut a hole in the wall to put in a window air conditioner. When they removed it, they built the shelf.

It would be too expensive to repair the wall, so I made this wallhanging to cover it up. I'm planning another one with chickens for the wall above the dryer.

I started to sew the hanging sleeve on this morning, and my sewing machine broke!!! It's in the hospital. I'm so sad...

That's adorable! Such a good idea to use it to cover an ugly hole in the wall. Can't wait to see the chicken one soon.

I love your fabric choices and quilting designs in your wall hanging! You are clever to think of placing it over the area you call an "eyesore". I'll look forward to seeing your Chicken wall hanging you are planning. Sorry about your machine misbehaving.
Maybe you can use the time to cut out your next project while your machine is on the mend. Good luck!
