Default Sheets From the Past

This is what I've named both of these quilts. Can't resist a sheet or a pillow case at a yard sale for 25 cents and after getting these 2 finished I will be making more. They are so soft and cuddly. Both of these will be gifts but have one planned for myself (after the holidays).

Get on here every morning to see what everyone is making. It's like watching a slide show!!!

I think your vintage sheet quilts are great!! I love vintage sheets too! I noticed you have some really pretty ones in that top quilt. LOVE that purple!!! I can't seem to find any purple and I love purple!!!

Those are so beautiful. You were so lucky to fins them. As Grandma Peg said, it is hard to believe they are sheets.

Those are so pretty! I also buy sheets and, skirts and shirts at various places to cut up and use for 'fabric stach'. I am saving several of my sheets for backing. My granddaughter is making a 'flower garden' quilt (her first, she is 12) and am going to give her my rose-flowered sheet for the backing.

I never thought about buying sheets to add to my fabric stash. Clever idea. Beautiful quilts. Thanks for sharing.
