What a lovely tribute. It is amazing how the plaid creates such a lovely design.
My father in law died this week rather unexpectedly (though he was chronically ill). We were cleaning out his home when I came across his plaid shirts (he always wore them). I had each of his kids pick a shirt so I could make each a memory wall hanging. I have the first done This morning this was a plaid shirt. (3 to go) The backing is from a sheet set he had, he loved fishing.

Kassaundra, I am completely blown away by how you matched/fussy cut the plaid fabric to get such a stunning wall hanging out of plaid shirts. Could you share how you did that? This first wallhanging is beautiful and I am sure all the family members will appreciate such a nice remembrance of your FIL. So sorry for your loss.
