Shop Hop & Block Lesson

My summer quilt group got together for a shop hop last week, we had a great time catching up with each other, and of course, shopping. The first shop we stopped at was "3 Dudes Quilting" in Phoenix, AZ. Here in these first few pictures, Ray Steeves shows us a pattern he created out of strip sets, that are then cut into large squares that are sub cut to make blocks.
The last picture shows us at "The Quilted Apple" in Tempe, AZ, watching a sewing machine demo. Amongst those in the pictures is a LURKER of this quilting board. She is very capable of contributing some great ideas and hints to this board, just needs a little encouragement from all of us. Come on CB, join in.
