You did a great job on your quilt. I really like the disappearing 4 patch -- it is on my to-do list. Great idea for a shop hop prize too.

I just love this quilt. If this one was second place, I cannot imagine the first place quilt.

I really like the pattern you chose for your gift charm squares from your shop hop. Blue and white are always so sharp looking. And, the applique in the border is a lovely complement to the pattern. No wonder you won a prize.

What a fun way to remember the shop hop, by using the items you received. I do that with a Mystery Retreat I attend each August. Everyone wins a door prize, and I've used mine to make a quilt, which I show for show and tell the following year at the retreat. One year I won a Jelly roll of Batiks, and used the ruler and technique we learned to make a throw sized quilt, the next year I won a pack of Minkee charm squares and added to it to create minky and flannel child's throw. This past year I won a RWB jelly roll... Still thinking on what to make. I guess I better get moving. August will be here before I know it!.

You have very generous quilt shops by what they gave you.
