Shopping anyone?
Had to take a break from jelly roll anything.😉 Maine just banned all plastic bags. So I've been creating some reusable bags. I have pellon 911 interfacing in them. I've been having a blast. I really like working with the cork fabric. I'm working on some more applique using the cork right now. I used the bosal heat and mold for the bottoms. I really liked that it was fusible. I tested it with a gallon of milk, and it held it good. Looking forward to making more. Thank you for looking, happy sewing everyone.

Nice work! Cork here is very expensive so I wouldn't put it into a tote, but love how it looks in a sculptured purse. We have been using fabric bags and backpacks here in BC for a few years, but during Covid many stores wouldn't allow you to bring your own bags, but then they waved the $.05/bag charge. We are back to using our own bags, but they request you don't place them on the counter.....not ideal, because then my backpack sits on the floor as I fill it....and when I come home, I can't put it up on my counter until I have sanitized it .... so many changes in our world....Thank you for sharing the photos, they are very inspiring!

I've joined the bag-mania. I was gifted 3 rolls of flannel backed vinyl that I use for some linings because the inside can then be wiped clean. Also, I jazzed up the canvas handles by sewing cute trimmings on them. Then I discovered that t-shirts make a great front panel! Your bags are inspirational. I must get some cork!

I love your bags. They are so pretty and so well made.
I only go to the grocery store about every other month now. That has been this way since March of 2020 with COVID. I can't us my own bags right now. I had been using my own bags for several years. I can't wait until I can again.
