Here are some of the shopping totes I made. I am hoping to sell them at the "Collector's Market" I am doing this weekend.
When I take my bags to the grocery store everyone tells me "you should make these and sell them" - so we will see

sorry this one is so blurry - using old camera

Those are beautiful. Good luck, I sure they will sell. Here people are crazy for quilt totes. Last year I think I sold about 16 at the hospital and the Health Dept.

I wanted to know the same thing. I have some plastic ones that stand up but would like to make some out of fabric.

I use stiff interfacing for the sides and extra stiff for the bottom. These are really not standing up as well as the ones I made myself some time ago. I think I might have used even stiffer interfacing when I did them. But it's ok, as I keep mine folded up anyway and in my car.

Thanks all for your positive thoughts :-P
I used med weight interfacing for sides and heavy weight for bottom. Because I only had time to get 9 made, I am going to ask $10.00 each. A good quilting friend's husband said I should do like $12.99 each, but I don't want to mess with having to make silly change. I am also attempting to sell several quilts, placemats and table toppers & table runners I have made.

It is a local market set up only on Sat. during the summer months. I am getting in on the tail end of it, but if all goes well this Sat. I will consider doing this again next summer. I will have all winter to do more quilting/creating.
