I was able to get a yard of this fabric a while back, found it after going through tons of google entries....I LOVE the kaufman stuff, I would love to find some of this in the jewel tone version. You could use it for the patter in a quilt mag from 2009 I think that was colled Holiday Sparkle, on the cover. You would have to have several yards though because of the fussy cutting involved. If you know where I could get some of this let me know! [email protected] I got some of what was used in holiday sparkle from England last year. Again, it took a lot of googling to find it.

Thanks everybody, will keep you posted.
I have never made a OBW but I've seen/read about them here and they always say you need to cut a reapeat pattern and on your material (which is too beautiful to cut!) I fear you would lose to much of it! JMO as I said, I've never actually made one!

oh my gosh... that fabric is almost unCuttable. do you have enough to do Both? otherwise, I vote for using it as is in quilt. then you won't miss it so much. :-)

I think it would make a beautiful OBW--maybe could you get enough of it so that you could use it for the backing too? Then you could have the best of both worlds...!

It is beautiful fabric. I'd be tempted to add a backing and quilt it as is. Can't wait to see what you decide. Keep us posted.
