I would like very much to see pictures of your work with Batiks. I am in the process of getting some and I need ideas for projects.

These are the first ones I am thinking of getting.

I love your choices! I've used both prints in blues/greens. Here are a couple of mine. I do have some marbles mixed in, but these are mostly batiks.

All are beautiful. I especially like Katier825's houses, chele's second one and Karla's.

By the way Karla, is the first left overs from the Kayaking on the Lake quilt.

Miss Treated--that block one is the prettiest one I have ever seen. It looks almost magical--like it belongs to Santa. :-D Wow!

kd124--no, it's actually the other way around... there are leftovers from the first (it's small) in Kayaking.

I love batiks. You guys made beautiful quilts with them.
Here is a simple pattern made with only 3 1/2 by 2 inch rectangles.

Ooo Cande, that black one is special, I absolutely love it and keep going back to look at it!
Has everyone noticed how much more black is being used lately, and to fantastic effect in everything...
I think we are all "playing" much more with colours and effects. Great isn't it?!
