I'm making Halloween mug rugs (large coasters) for a quilting group. We can't use the donated holiday prints for shelter quilts, so we are making mug rugs for our friends!

Thank you Cam's gram for posting the close up. The fabrics you used are really fun. Absolutely beautiful.

Path 50 that is a delightful Halloween quilt. Was that a pattern you bought, or did you just start adding? Thank you for sharing. I, too, would like to see the finished quilt. Please post it when it is done. Enjoy.

Kwiltkrazy thank you! This quilt is the result of a quilt along I participated in on Instagram. The organizer of the qal posted to her blog each week. I fell in love with the colors she used, but then I ended up with something completely different. I couldnt justify buying new fabric when I already have a lot, so I used (mostly) stash. If you are interested, the details are on the blog flyingparrots.com. It is a lot of paper piecing, which I hadn't done before - I kind of love it AND hate it! It was definitely a challenge and I'm so happy I did it - I will post the finished result.
