I am seeing light at the end of the tunnel, this has been 3 weeks of quilting, I still have 2 1/2 more borders to complete and one setting triangle before I finish up with a little red thread, hopefully tomorrow.. then I can soak it, block it and get the binding done.. The 1st Show for 'Royal Icing' will be at Machine Quilters Exposition in Providenc, Rhode Island in April.... Now time to get back to quilting....

This is simply jaw droppingly expletive gorgeous!! I would love to read a write up about this quilt like all the different techniques you used. I see pebbling and what looks like microstippling and ruler work. Did you do trapunto as well or is it just the really dense quilting that makes these motifs pop like that? I just can't get over how amazing this is. Can't wait to see the finished product. Please post at least 10 pictures with lots of closeups!!

I have never seen anything so perfect and beautiful!!! If your quilt doesnt take the highest honors then the judges need to have an eye exam!!!
