Default Show and tell - my cowgirl quilt

I wanted to make my great niece a quilt for either Christmas or her first birthday.. and I fell in love with this cowgirl fabric at Fabric.com I did ask for inspiration from here on the board so thanks to everyone who chimed in. I bounced around with different ideas but ended up doing warm wishes...I know its far from perfect but I am very happy with how it turned out. The binding is only pinned on now, but that won't take long to sew on. Thanks for looking

Very cute quilt. Thank you, did you use eyelet fabric for some of your shashing? It looks lovely.

Thank you. No eyelet material.. its all bandanda type prints. The edging is a ruffle. Eyelet material is a good idea though.. I am going to have to remember that!!
