Did you use a pattern? If so, what is it? It is just great!

Yes, I was wondering the same thing. I am sure this could be "figured out" but knowing where to start always helps. You created a spectacular quilt!.

Oh, I did a quick search and found it from Missouri Star Quilt Company.

Such a fabulous quilt...colorful and fun. Despite the actual graduation ceremony, your DGD is going to love your gift.

Oh my stars! Your quilt is amazing! It reminded me of Christmas lights right away. I have always used colored lights on my tree. My mind went to Christmas because I am planning to make my 2 sons and their wives quilts for Christmas!
The pattern is versatile for any time of year. Thanks for showing great pics for us to enjoy! ...ps. pattern please if you used one.

I see the pattern link in another post!

the pattern is Showering Stars.
The background is a really deep purple and I quilted it with Superior Threads Omni V thread ( a variegated purple
I am starting a second one with a dark blue background and more solids- trying to use up what I have. I enjoyed making the first one and think the second will come together even faster.
