I think the silhouette a little bigger, but not from one black line to another; either shorter, taller, or placed in the middle of the blocks. Just imho.

The black sashing really makes it look good.. My group has done many of these. I actually add a wider black border too so I have a wonderful plce to put feathers. I love the silhouette.

A delightful, beautiful quilt. Love the silhouette just as it is.

LOVE your quilt - just add a 2 or 3 inch border, and you're good to go! Lovely!

Ugly what? You are not talking about the quilt in the picture. Are you?
Great idea to add the silouette. Either way bigger or as it is. I like the idea of the small because it surprises you when you find it instead of drawing your attention.
Thanks for sharing and please re-think your adjective. It is beautiful!

Love scrappy, I would just add two calming borders to direct the eye to the quilt itself. I don't think you need anything but anything is what you apparently CAN DO. The unexpected can be fun but larger would detract from your quilt.
Think about where you cut out is going and how your little person will get there! Thank you.
