I agree this is a wonderful scrappy quilt. I will add this one to my growing list.

What amazes me is how simple looks so stunning. Congrats on your freemotion. I am glad you are pleased with it and can see that you have improved with every quilt. People are generally too hard on themselves. As I look at the quilt, the quilting looks even all over. That is something I think is important for quilting so I think you did a fabulous job. I like doing the quilting best so it warmed my heart to hear you say you were happy with your quilting.

Your quilt looks warm and inviting. I think that is the highest praise I can give a quilt

Love the quilt, especially the border pattern.

Oh so pretty. I have just fallen in love with scrappy quilts this past year or so. I just find them so interesting and amazing. Your quilt is such a good example a stunning quilt made from "nothing".

Well, it is more or less even all around--I'm working on one now that is actually much closer--probably called stippling.

I will keep on working on my quilting, but I think (I say that because it might change) that I will always prefer piecing, but at least I've started my journey of FMQing and I am liking the results.

I don't yet see how people do all sorts of fancy things on big quilts on their domestic machines, but maybe my time will come too and I'll improve to the point where I'm doing feathers or flowers, etc. For now, I'll try to get down meandering, stippling and straight lines.
