A lovely finish and your quilt inspector looks very proud of his efforts.

your blues are great, especially since you chose them yourself... they play well together. You are the second one in recent posts that have done the Double Slice pattern, it seems to be a fun project. I think it is rejuvenating to have a simple project amidst the more difficult tasks we sometimes get consumed by. You did a great job!

I just cut the 10" blocks for this one. Going to a retreat and wanted to take a few simple projects along so I could spend time catching up with quilters I don't get to see often. Love the colors. Thanks for showing us.

I've been making quilts for quite a while but my favorite is still squares.

You're right. Sometimes, simple is fun because of how quickly there is a great finish. Your blues did make a beautiful quilt. Enjoy.

I love the colors and I'll definitely be looking into this pattern. I agree, it looks like Hot Rod is smiling! What a cutie!

Hotrod looks like our Kitty (originally Boots, but no one called her that LOL), except for the nose. She had a "sailboat of grey" right on her nose. She lived to be almost 21 !

Love it, just as pretty as more complicated patterns.
