I did this one for our last grand...they had beautiful bedroom ensemble for her so this quilt was ideal for in the car or on the floor when she was crawling..she seemed to like the bright colors

I never heard of raw edge applique but will have to check it out.

Great job, pretty soon instead of crawling and looking at the colors she being taking it with her to snuggle up and sleep! :) :) :)
