All of this would not have been accomplished without them. It will be difficult to sew with her because I want her to stay just this way :roll: Each day I take a look at her and give her a pat.

Smokey was born in 1951 s/n NA130186. The reason for the name "Smokey": She was covered in smoke when I got her. It took days of rubbing Goop with cotton balls on her to get her clean. My mother, who is no longer with us and was my best friend, was a smoker. I thought of her often when I was cleaning the machine. It was almost like she was with me. Hence the name of "Smokey". Yes, it is a very special machine even tho I don't know the person that sewed with it :!:
