My Sis in law didn't like this quilt after all because it didn't have a tent or camping stuff. It is about fishing, since they never fished, I guess it was a bad choice on my part, thought it was outdoorsy since you usually fish outside.
I'm giving it to my Oldest Grandson, serving our country in Iraq, his Mom will keep it until he comes home. He loves fishing and he loves quilts from Gramma.

I think that it's very nice and like you, I think that it is outdoorsy. I used to fish and camp but no only fish since I am on oxygen but I think that it's a lovely quilt! I'm sure your grandson will love it.

Sounds like the quilt found a more deserving new owner that will appreciate it. Very nice quilt with all the flying geese and very masculine.

I am glad that you found someone to appreciate all the hard work and thought that went into that quilt! I have a SIL that is like that. She lives 2000 miles from me, so when I send her something I have no idea who she regifts it to. I am sure Rich will treasure it.

One excellent quilt!!! some people you just cant please - Glad your grandson will be getting this - I think he will enjoy it and appreciate it!!! dont tell him it was made for someone else-just tell him you thought of him. If sisterinlaw wants more camping stuff let her find fabric - not as easy as she might think!! I dont know anyone who camps that dont fish too!!! Gotta eat lol Thanks for sharing your beautiful work cheryl

Looks like your SIL is outnumbered in opinions of this quilt!
    It's LOVELY!!
Hope you're not planning another one for her any time soon :(

I'm so sorry that you SIL could not see the lovely quilt. It is a beautiful quilt and the amount of work put into it is phenomenal. Your grandson is so lucky to be the one receiving the quilt as a gift. I am sure he will enjoy it more than anyone else. You did a fantastic job and I just love those flying geese! :D

The quilt is beautiful. You did an outstanding job on it. If I were you, I would not spend another minute of my time making another quilt for your unappreciative SIL.

You should have her send it to him, I hear the winters are pretty cold over there.
