Well I wasn't there but I THINK, the way it was told, it hadn't been done completely surreptitiously so she knew something was up BUT she played the good granma and pretended to be shocked. She does this 'oooooohhargh' ending on a high pitched screech when shocked or surprised! It's really funny - I don't know if you knew Frankie Howerd (English comedy actor) but he made a similar noise. :shock: :lol:
PS - did you see the backing fabric of your quilt is little French coqs - blue ones as in 'Allez les Bleus'! :D
