    I'm so glad you persevered with the Stars. The quilt is beautiful. The sense of accomplishment when you finish a project like that is so rewarding and we get to see your amazing work.

    You should be very proud of yourself. That is certainly not an easy pattern. You went the full journey and made a beautiful top.

    Your top is just gorgeous. I think you did an awesome job & you learned a lot through your process. The end result was really worth it .

    Wowzers, NICE job!! After the first part of your story, I wondered what I would see in the second photo. Which I would NOT let myself scroll down till I read your explanation all the way through. You did an AWESOME job finishing the stars. You deserve a big pat on the back for finishing this quilt. (I'm sure that other quilter is looking down and thankful that you got her UFO. So, two thumbsup to you!

    I'm joining the masses who are saying you did a bang-up job on this painstaking transformation. It's easy to see why you loved the fabrics, and easy to imagine why it was such a pain in the butt, too. It sounds like mothering--you love your kids all the time, but you don't LIKE them many times. I have a hunch this one will become a favorite of yours to cozy up with.
