What a wonderful way to create memories of the sea. I like that it will be displayed where you will always have the sea nearby. Did you design it or was it a pattern that guided you?

This a beautiful seascape. I did a seascape wall hanging for a class at a sewing center. Loved doing it. Got to see if I can get a picture up here to share. New to the group so things are still a little confusing. Going to try anyway

SeaScape Contest. Machine quilted fish. Mermaid rubber stamped on material and painted. Yarn hair. Treasure chest stamped and jewels added. We were given a little bag with beads and a swatch of material and the fuzzy stuff and told to use our imagination. I went wild and added fish, shells,beads and different threads. Free hand quilting on three main materials and hand tied on the bottom piece. What fun. It won 1st Place .This was my first Quilted Wall Hanging so you know I was busting all buttons on my shirts. LOL
