Thanks for posting Katrine. I especially like the ladies under the umbrellas, a little more elegant version of the Sunbonnet Sue. And I like the way the quilts are hung. I never would have thought of that. And I just recycled all my plastic hangers!

:lol: :lol: I think the display methods are what you would describe as quilters' improvisation Anna! This room, although large enough for this small exhibition, is part of the old Mairie (town hall) in the centre of the town, and is used for other exhibitions also.

The plastic hangers are actually on screens. You will notice lots of the smaller exhibits hanging on a rusty nail into the granite here and there - but the best one is the blue and yellow sailboats quilts at the end. The bamboo rod has actually been suspended from a cold water pipe. Quilters are as ingenious everywhere I think :lol:
