Small hankie quilt I made for my mom

My mom loves pansies and I love hankies. It was a practice for a larger hankie quilt that is in my future.

very beautiful. I've always loved these quilts. It's one of the reasons I got into quilting to begin with. Aren't Hankies great?

Very nicely done. You just don't find the handkerchiefs like you use to in the 50s. Guess Kleenex tissue made them extinct.

Really pretty. It is getting harder and harder to find the fancier hankies to use in projects like this. What a very nice gift for DM.

Not her hankies. Two were her moms, though.

How did you attach the hankies to the fabric? Steam-a-seam?

I have plans to make one, too. What did you do? Sew the hankie to one square? Love it.

I have some hankies that belonged to my mom. This is an excellent way to show them off. Love your quilt!
