I complete one other baby quilt but the is the first one of any size and it is small. I have some tops made and I am trying to work up to larger quilts. I learned to spray bast and from what I read here quilting a 1/4" from the ditch is easier. I think that is right. I also learned more about bindings. Thank everyone!
I have a friend that remodeled a old rock one room schoolhouse for their home. I looked and looked for some old school fabric. I found a lot of modern school fabric but not much in the old school. What I found was scraps at a garage sale so I put this together for a gift. It is not great but they will like it.

    My second quilt

Quilts don't have to be super fancy to be really great - and that looks like a great quilt.

What a great gift! I went to a one room school that's now transformed into a house. Country school was one of the best things in my life.
