    Small Scrap Quilt

I am on a mission to use up fabric I already have and this is a finish. I had bought the brown for something else but didn't like it so it has been waiting to be used. I found some black and a little red and this butterfly fabric that I bought for some reason and voila a quilt has been made.

Love your scrappy. You did a very creative job on fabrics you had in your stash. Especially love how you even put a scrappy binding on.

Very pretty. It looks more controlled than scrappy to me. Very nice work.

Great scrappy quilt...although it doesn’t read as such. I agree with SusieQ, I like how you constructed the binding. Nice job.

What is the definition of a scrap quilt? This quilt was definitely controlled but material was from scraps that I already had. Okay, not a scrap quilt. It is a small lap quilt. I had to think to make sure I had enough material to put it together in some kind of design. It was fun scrap or no scrap.

The first thing that my eye was drawn to was the unique way you chose the color placement in your binding. I also like the butterfly boarder broken up with the solid orange fabric. Quilt and quilting are fabulous!
