OMG, I made that exact quilt a couple of years ago. I decided to make it a king size quilt - I NEVER want to make a flying geese block again!!!! I also hand quilted it (my 1st hand quilting) and it took my almost five years to finish it!

Your quilt is beautiful. I would like to ask what kind of problems you were having with the Pfaff QE 4. I've had mine for two years now and I'm constantly messing with it. The thread cutter gets stuck so much that I just quit using it. When I took it back to the shop the guy who does all the repairs told me this wouldn't be the last time it would happen. I can't use the needle threader either; the little loop is there but I can't get it to thread. I have to re-thread my machine so many times over and over and I can't figure out why. The so-called manuel is a joke.

Is this a Pam Bono design? It's going to be beautiful!

Love your quilt! I have always been afraid to try the flying geese.

I have just purchased a Pfaff Expression 4.0!!! I had an issue with the thread coming off the guide above the needle but other than that I am very happy with it. Please let me know what issues you had so I can watch out for them. A big alert went up when I read about your problems as it took me ages to decide on my new sewing machine!!! I would greatly appreciate your time in getting back to me
