    Smokey Mountain Stars

This is my first photo posting..... I love this board. I made this queen size quilt from men's shirt fabric... no flowers, just plaids, stripes, solids. I have only been FMQ for about 10 months. I use my domestic machine. Any advice to make my next one better ????

Wow, what a great idea using those fabrics. It just goes to show that we don't always need flowers to make something gorgeous. If this is how you FMQ after 10 months, I can't wait to see what you are doing 5 years down the line.

I think your quilting is outstanding! Very beautiful quilt! This is one of my favorite patterns, I like it with the plaids and solids too and have been saving plaids to do this one.

That looks great! your FMQ looks good to me for using a domestic sewing machine. Do you use stencils? Keep up the good work...............Janet
