Default Snap bags I've made

I've made about 12 of these recently and my friends love them! Some of them I lined with a soft vinyl that I cut from a $5 Wal-Mart shower curtain liner.

I like them too. How big are they and do you use steel measuring tapes ?

I made 13 of them this year to put little objects and money in for Christmas. What a clever idea to line with soft vinyl. The snapping is the fun part. I can just see the big kids driving their parents crazy as they snap away.

I did use the steel measuring tape and YES the adults even love to snap them! The finished size is 8x8. In order to get that finished size I cut the fabric and lining 9x16.5" The vinyl is hard to sew. I used a vinyl/leather foot attachment and had to use a stretch stitch. It still slid around some while stitching. I think the foot is for the heavier upholstery type vinyl and this vinyl is thin but it does make it liquid resistant so should be easier to clean if makeup gets on it. Most of them I just used a pretty contrasting fabric for the lining.

My favorite color is red so you know which one I really like. Those are really cute and would make wonderful gifts.
