I love working on whole cloth washable satin quilts for toddlers. Be sure to use something else for the back or they slide right off the bed LOL. That is beautiful work, so perfect I thought it was computerized at first.

Kevin is my husband of almost 21 years. I consider him a designer after seeing him work. He gets a lot of his design ideas from being outside. In his words, he's a "fisherman, hunter, mushroomer, and still-learning quilter."

Love, love, love the story! Just thinking about the sweet love that's going into the quilt, from the mother who started it and passed away before the quilt was completed, the step-mom who sewed it together for the next step toward completion, and Kevin who is using his amazing talent quilting it into completion. This quilt will be cherished forever!! Great job!

Hats off to stepmother for making sure that the daughter is going to receive this beautiful work of art. So many may have just tossed the blocks or made it for themselves or others, ignoring the fact that it should go to the daughter originally. This will be something the daughter will cherish forever, especially since it was started originally by her mother and the stepmother has enough love for the stepdaughter, that she wants to be sure she has a quilt as do her other siblings. Be sure to post a pic. of the finished quilt!! Many thanks to the stepmother for doing this!!
