The quilt and the quilting are both beautiful. I love civil war quilts and am currently doing a BOM civil war.

I am still trying to find a product I really like, but right now I am using a regular chalk pounce pad. Not the miracle chalk you take off with an iron but the regular kind that brushes out easily. Unfortunately the bouncing of the hopping foot is enought to disrupt the chalk marking. I did try using a disappearing ink pen but the one I had didn't make a very good mark to begin with and disappeared too fast. I do have another disappearing ink pen that is newer so I may test that one and try it but it is a pain to mark a stencil with a pen, I much prefer the pounce pad even with the bouncing chalk all over, at least it comes out nice and easy. I brush off anything that doesn't bouce off with a dry paint brush and dry wash cloth.

I use the bounce pad as well and have the same issue. Just thought there might be a better option out there.
