Size: 138.2 KB this is a snowflake quilt I made a few years ago. the Snowflakes were to be paper pieced but I didnt know how to do that at the time so cur each little piece and sewed by machine. It is handquilted in a angular meandering pattern.

It's a very pretty quilt. I can't imagine piecing all those skinny shapes without paper piecing. You must really know your 1/4 inch seam! Great job!

that is simply gorgeous!!! i know what you mean about paper piecing, i tried it years ago with a six inch Sunbonnet Sue. i ended up making paper templates and putting together that way. I never did that again! tiny pieces are better paper pieced. love your quilt!!

I would have been cussing up a blue streak , trying to do al those little seams without paper piecing! You have my complete respect for even attempting... and then you actually finished it... WOW!

Gorgeous quilt!!!!! You did a wonderful job especially knowing you didn't paper piece it. I have wanted to make one like it but was afraid I would give up (and that is using paper piecing) I applaud you for completing it and it is so very pretty!!!!
